Clinical Care & Treatment Overview

Perfect Peel is a medium-depth, medical-grade chemical peel built around a key ingredient not traditionally used in peels: glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that helps brighten the skin and protect against oxidative damage as it heals. The treatment combines glutathione with a blend of five acids, including trichloroacetic acid (TCA), retinoic acid, salicylic acid and kojic acid, along with vitamin C. Each ingredient works at a different level of the skin: TCA breaks down the bonds between damaged surface cells so they can shed away, salicylic acid clears oil and debris from the pores, retinoic acid speeds up cell turnover and collagen production, and kojic acid works alongside glutathione to even out pigmentation. Together they exfoliate the outer layer of skin while stimulating renewal underneath. The peel itself takes around 15 to 30 minutes to apply. A mild tingling or stinging sensation is common during application, followed by visible peeling that typically begins around day two or three and is largely complete by day seven. Beneath the surface, cellular renewal continues for around 28 days, the length of a full skin cycle, which is when full results become visible. Perfect Peel is commonly used for hyperpigmentation, sun damage, melasma, acne and acne scarring, fine lines, and enlarged pores. It is not suitable for anyone under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or with open wounds, active severe eczema or psoriasis. A short course of two to four peels spaced around four weeks apart is often recommended for more stubborn concerns such as melasma or active acne.
