Clinical Care & Treatment Overview

Dermapen microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses a device fitted with fine, sterile needles to create thousands of microscopic punctures in the skin's surface. These controlled micro-injuries trigger the body's natural wound-healing response, stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin from within. The treatment is commonly used to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of acne scarring, fine lines and enlarged pores, and even out skin tone. Because the needle depth can be adjusted, Dermapen can be tailored to different skin concerns and areas of the face or body, making it suitable for a range of skin types. A typical course involves three to six sessions, spaced around four weeks apart, allowing the skin time to heal and regenerate new collagen between treatments. Mild redness and sensitivity, similar to light sunburn, is common for one to two days afterwards. Results build gradually as new collagen forms, with continued improvement seen over the following weeks and months.
